AI should be monitored and regulated as following the governments role in protecting the best interest of its people. If it is observed that AI is becoming an existential threat, and it likely is, we need to have governmental focus on regulating its development, and preparing to defend against it. UBI is on the table as a response to heavy automation. I am Pro-AI and we will likely need a “defensive AGI” to combat any kind of dangerous AGI that emerges.

If we have the ability to genetically edit and modify against negative traits it should be done. I have no issue with designer babies if sentient rights are not violated post sentience. Any genetic engineering with animals must be done to benefit their sentient rights protections, not violate them.

I fully support transhuman technology. The only ethical limits imposed are if the technology or its R&D violate sentient rights.

Lab-grown meat is humanity’s best hope in creating a sentientist world and vastly diminishing animal agriculture. AI sentience can be allowed. If artificial systems give way to true sentience, then said sentience would have full protections of sentient rights like biological beings. Animal testing should be completely banned - cosmetic, pharmaceutical, and technological experimentation should be performed on violent criminal offenders that are sentenced to death - their rights have been forfeited due to their egregious violations.

Facial recognition, social scoring, data privacy in the tech age?
All data privacy should be respected. All data trading should be opt-in only. Government to regulate this and punish any transgressions. Data acquired in public spaces should have no expectation of privacy protection. It should only be used for public protections and the best interest of the people. There should be government regulation regarding any private company trading or accessing this encrypted data.
Space & Exploration:
Prioritize human spaceflight, colonization, or private enterprise?
Human spaceflight should be completely privatized. The only governmental space program that should be funded should be militarized and weighing and advancing technology to compete with any foreign power. If people of the country want to fly in space, private companies should do R&D and create the technology. The government can purchase or contract private companies for their military research or security programs in this industry.
